Art Conservation the Topic of the Day on California Edition

Art Conservation was the topic of the day on the statewide public affairs program, “California Edition,” recently. Brad Pomerance, host of the TV program, interviewed Ruth Chandler Williamson Gallery Director and Associate Professor of Art History Mary MacNaughton ’70 on the topic. Professor MacNaughton discussed the many opportunities available at Scripps for art conservation students. Such opportunities are few and far between: Scripps offers the only art conservation major for undergraduates on the West Coast and is one of only a handful of educational institutions in the entire country to do so.
